MIET Meerut is proud to announce the successful establishment of a Miyawaki Plantation on campus. This eco-friendly initiative aims to promote biodiversity, enhance green cover, and contribute to a healthier environment.

The plantation drive was led by Rahul Kumar, PhD Scholar, Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, Uttarakhand who meticulously selected and planted a variety of native species suitable for the Miyawaki method. This innovative approach focuses on dense, multi-layered plantations that mimic natural forests, promoting rapid growth and minimizing maintenance.
