MIET - Leave Policy

Detail

Leave Policy must be read in its entirety in conjunction with updates, rectifications, clarifications, corrigendum notices, etc. as and when issued by MIET. All staff members must ensure that they have updated information on this policy. MIET gives no guarantee about the contents of this Policy being error free and will not accept any liability thereof. In case of any disputes on any matter concerning the policy, the decision of the competent authority of MIET shall be final and binding on all concerned

Policy for Project and Report writing

Major Project is in the curriculum of final year of various programs (in all the specializations). This policy covers all the areas related to major project including policy to be adopted for formation of project groups comprising the students of the class, allotment of supervisors, finalization of topics, submission and approval of topic/synopsis, progress of project work and its monitoring, presentations, development of prototype / software, etc., report submission and award of marks.

Rules Related to Students

Detail

Meerut institute of Engineerìng and Technology (MIET) students must abide by the rules and regulations of the institute. The institute authority may take disciplinary action if any student violates the institute rules and regulations. Students are advised to adhere to the rules and regulations of the institute and discharge their responsibilities as a student with diligence, fidelity and honor. Students are required to follow these rules and also have to submit bond of
good conduct.

Scrap-write off policy and Institute Disposal Committee

Detail

Record-keeping of all the belongings / equipment / machine (books, consumables items / non-consumable items / glass-ware and chemicals etc.) in prescribed stock registers of concerned department / section is mandatory. Stock verification of items pertaining to the department / section (including library, exam cell, central store etc.) is to be taken care at department / concerned section level at least once in a year. All the stock registers must be completed and duly signed by respective in-charge and HOD. Record-keeping of copy of bills should also be taken care at concerned department / section level. Apart from the store of department / section concerned, Central Store is also available to keep the record of documents / answer-sheets etc.
