An industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. Sonipat was organized for chemical engineering students to enhance their understanding of industrial-scale fermentation and process engineering. Students observed the complete production line of probiotic beverages, including fermentation operations, bioreactor control, heat treatment, filtration, automated filling, and rigorous quality assurance practices. The visit provided valuable exposure to practical applications of chemical engineering concepts such as mass transfer, reaction engineering, process optimization, and plant hygiene management within a modern food biotechnology facility.
