21 2022-23 Biosynthesis of Cobalt Oxide nanoparticles (Co3O4) using Delonix regia leaf extract and their biomedical application

Cobalt oxide nanoparticles were synthesized using Delonix regia leaf extract, a green and environmentally friendly method. Characterization through X-ray diffraction and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) revealed uniform particle shape, while UV-Visible spectroscopy indicated absorption peaks at 230 nm and 436 nm. Green synthesis using Delonix regia extract demonstrated potential in inhibiting bacteria, particularly E. coli.

The physico-chemical parameters were optimised for the extraction of rutin from mulberry leaves, including the effects of various solvents, solvent percentages, pH, extraction time, and particle mesh size.

23 2022-23 Evaluation of Natural Tannin Degradation Efficiency of Tannase-Producing Fungal Isolates

Tannins are the most abundant biopolymer found in leaves, fruit, galls and bark of many plants. It is therefore tannin biomass also contributes significantly to the agro- wastes. These tannin-rich substrates can be substituted for costly tannic acid while large scale production of the enzyme is to be attempted. The present study aimed to produce extracellular tannase using natural tannin substrate for tannase production from the fungal tannase producer.

24 2022-23 Anti-oxidant activity of Syzygium cumini seeds

Phenolic content levels are very high in Syzygium cumini seeds. It acts as an antioxidants. So here extraction of phenolic content from seeds by soxhlet extraction, purification of phenolic content by column chromatography and enhancement of phenolic content by biotransformation. Finally we are studied antioxidant activity by DPPH methodology.

25 2022-23 Effect of Different Cryogenic Conditions on Bio Matrix based in-vitro Screening Models

The Potency of the 3D cell culture to mimic the in-vivo ECM (Extracellular Matrix) for better modeling and Screening of drugs provides a great advantage to exploring tissue engineering. To develop a portable Drug Screening and cruilety free Model under different cryogenic conditions. It could serve as an alternative to animal model.

Aerobic granules were developed using domestic sludge as an inoculum and during the granular development, characteristics of granules were also evaluated.

28 2022-23 Development of Fusarium wilt resistance in tomato by post cultivation pre-treatment with green synthesized metal oxide nanoparticles

The study's findings showed that the isolated FOL strain was extremely vulnerable to ZnO NPs. The MIC and MFC values suggested an inhibitory effect on FOL growth that was dose-dependent. Significant fungal hyphae destruction was discovered under a microscope, demonstrating the potential of ZnO NPs to suppress FOL infections. Overall, the work revealed FOL's susceptibility to ZnO NPs and successfully isolated and characterised it from soil samples. These results imply that ZnO NPs may be investigated as a possible antifungal agent for treating FOL induced tomato wilt disease. The efficiency of ZnO NPs under field conditions and their possible effects on the environment and off targets both require further study.

Total Tannin Content levels are very high in Momordica charantia seeds. Here extraction of tannin content from seeds by batch extraction process (Optimization process), enhancement of tannin levels by soxhlet extraction, purification of tannin content by column chromatography. Finally we are studied about partition coefficient (distribution coefficient) of tannins.
