Dr. Brijesh Singh, Professor of Department of Mechanical Engineering is serving as Director of Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut wef August, 2022. Dr. Singh has teaching experience of more than 23 years in AICTE approved engineering institutes (including government college) and most of the time; he was actively involved in the planning, implementation and monitoring of affairs / issues related to academics and general administration of the organization, and also served as Director of Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida. He is member of Board of Studies (Mechanical Engineering) of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24) and was the Member of Resource Identification Committee (E-Consortium, AKTU, 2020-21 and 2021-22). He is continuously working for continuous improvement and actively engaged with accreditations and ranking associated works.
He did his B Sc Engineering (Mechanical Engg) from Dayalbagh Educational Institute Agra (1999), Masters from MNR Engineering College, Allahabad (2002) and PhD from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (2017). His research area is Advance Manufacturing Technologies / Industrial Engineering. He published more than 20+ papers in national / international conferences and journals and 05 patents with 2 copy-rights. He successfully completed 12+ FDPs (2 – UHVPE) and delivered 10+ lectures on Outcome Based Education (Awareness / Adoption / Computation of Attainments). He is life member of ISTE and IETE. Dr Singh believes in systematic and transparent working.
