About The Department
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) was established in MIET with the aim of giving quality education. The department is having NBA Accreditation up to Session 2026-27. It is an academic center for education, research and creativity in key areas of Computer Science. Department is equipped with labs, Seminar hall with well qualified and learned faculties having specialization in different computer domain.Department empowers students to have excellence in scientific education, technical education and research to serve as a valuable resource for industry and society. Department promotes collaboration with industry like IBM, Wipro and TCS etc. to achieve better integration of theory. Department offers industrial visits and Personality development courses to fulfill the gap between industry and academics. Department is empowering students by providing latest technologies used in Industry like SAP, REDHAT, ADOBE, SALESFORCE, embedding programming to bridge the gap between Industry and academia

The Department of CSE (AI) and CSE (AI&ML) was established in the year 2020 to offer an undergraduate programme B.Tech under the affiliation of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
MIET flourishes to give a successful specialized instruction by means of experiential learning and create a concrete framework with proficient workforce and energetic understudy community for accomplishing higher target level in Higher instruction in India. It believes in executing outcome-based education (OBE). On deep rooted learning, we conduct different specialized events like hackathons, coding competitions, preparing programs, workshops and classes. We endeavor to deliver our best in terms of information spread and bring out the best from our students. Our activities will certainly shape the students in such a way that they confront the outside world with confidence and provoke specialized, interpersonal and problem-solving aptitudes. In order to get ready Industry prepared professionals with all-encompassing identity, we tie up with different firms and routinely organize different exercises like industry visits, specialized talks, and real-time ventures to sharpen the students’ specialized and delicate aptitudes.

Department of IT got NBA accredited for 3 year (2023-24 to 2025-26) Information technology (IT) is a broad subject which deals with technology and other aspects of managing and processing information. The umbrella of IT incorporates multiple technological aspects of computing. IT has changed the way of our life and the pace of change is very fast. This scenario is giving us new opportunities in varied domains. To continuously learn and grasp new technologies is a real challenge for IT professionals. Creating such professionals that take up this challenge and rise to the apex is our goal. Department also contains well qualified faculties with M.E. / M. Tech. They are technically and practically sound in various fields. The Department offers a unique combination of courses and project that helps the students to cope with the recent advancements in the computer industry and information technology. We are committed to give students an environment to nurture their talent in to its fullest potential. This is achieved by experienced faculty members, year-round conduction of numerous seminars, guest lectures, and industry academia interaction, co-curricular & extracurricular activities.
