EMI

Students can avail facility of EMI option by swipe their credit card.

Instant EMI refers to the conversion into EMI upon request by Credit Cardholder, on the transactions performed using the retail Credit Card on EDC (Electronic Data Capture) terminal installed at fee Counter, where the option for EMI payment is available.

Easy Steps to convert your fee  into Instant EMIs:
Fee Counter > Contact Cashier > Choose EMI option > Swipe > Convert
 

Every EMI transaction follows these steps:

  1. First you select the EMI option
  2. Enter the Amount of transaction
  3. Choose the Bank
  4. Select EMI tenure (3,6,9,12 months)
  5. Swipe card and complete transaction

Features

  • Instant EMI conversion is without any documentation
  • Tenure option of 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 & 24 months available
  • This interest rate varies from one card provider to another (see table). Generally, the interest rate is linked to the tenure of your loan: the longer the tenure, the higher the interest.
  • Students can calculate their emi amount on the website of a particular bank .

Education Loan

Students can avail education loan from any bank. You can apply for the loan directly in  the bank or through Vidyalakshmi website. However, for the benefit of its students, MIET, Meerut has tie-ups with the following banks:

  • Axis Bank, Meerut
  • PNB Bank, Meerut (Apply for PNB Saraswati Scheme)

NOTE: The Ministry of HRD provides Interest Subsidy on education loan for moratorium period (Course Period plus one year) to those Students whose annual gross parental/ family income is up to Rs.4.5 lakhs.

Eligibility:

  • NAAC accredited institute
  • Family Income less than 4.5 lakh
  • Meritorious students.

Following documents would be required for education loan assistance:

  • 10th Mark Sheet
  • 10th Passing Certificate
  • 12th Mark Sheet
  • 12th Passing Certificate
  • Character Certificate
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  • 10 Passport size photo
  • Migration Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Gap year affidavit if applicable
  • Graduation Mark Sheet (For PG students)
  • Graduation Degree (For PG Students)

Candidate are requested to bring the above mentioned documents (Photo copies as well as originals) for verification.
