The students will be able to gain the knowledge of • Read and understanding engineering drawings • Conversant with various machine tools, measuring instruments and their uses • Able to perform various machining operations on conventional machines as well as CNC Machines • Ability to Read, Understand, develop, and modify CNC part programme |

Day 2 | Different types of tools and their uses in detail | How to interpret a part drawing and Working with basic lathe machine | |
Day 3 | Job making on lathe machine from study of part drawing independently | Working with basic milling (indexing), shaper, drilling and other conventional machines | |
Day 4 | Introduction to CNC machine and various part and their function in CNC machine | Basics of CNC programming and codes (G-code, M-code) with respective syntax, Practice of job part making on CNC simulation software-I | |
Day 5 | Practice of job part making on CNC simulation software independently | Making of simple part on Real CNC machine, referencing, offsetting, various compensation, etc | |
